What We Believe

E111

We're in our series on the 5 Fundamental Money Principles that will help you improve your financial health no matter your situation. The first fundamental money principle, spend less than you earn, is critical to reaching your financial goals. But how can you do this in a culture that so strongly encourages consumer spending?

In Philippians 4:11-13 Paul writes:

Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
